Thanks to blip I have learned about solar energy today. I captured this photo while facing east on the south side of Blackfriars bridge. There is another bridge being built parallel to the existing bridge with roof mounted solar panels. Apparently when complete it will be the largest solar bridge in the world.

Fascinating stuff! And for months I have been cycling past without a clue regarding the grand plan.
