Thursday 29 March 2012: Harbor fishing

So it turns out there aren't any beaches at Long Beach. In fact most of the scenery looks like this.

After getting over my disappointment, I sat and watched the pelicans fishing in the harbor for an hour or so before going back to the conference and discussing French literary matters...
