Friday 30 March 2012: Sleeping lacewing
It's an early blip today, as we're out for dinner with my parents tonight to celebrate my 'official birthday' (check out last year's blip for an explanation!).
I was taking some pictures of the magnolia tree, which is in glorious full bloom at the moment, when I noticed two lacewings in one of the flowers, so out came the reversing ring again. I've actually merged bits from a few images to create this final blip, as I wanted more elements of the picture in focus than I could achieve in each single photo.
