Tuesday 9 September 2008: no swimming
it was very windy all day from "Ike" (no rain)- had to go check out the beach. The waves were bigger that I remember them ever getting here (can't really tell in this shot). It was hard to hold the camera still in the wind, and the lens got coated with salt spray even though I stayed far from the water. You can see the red "no swim" flag and below that is the purple flag to warn of ripcurrents. Another point of interest is the sea turtle nest marked with sticks in the sand so no one will disturb it.
