Mercurial Rain.......

Woke up this morning..... to an amazing din of rain on the roof - like what a
torrential downpour - lasted maybe 15 minutes......and where did it go...down our drain....little local joke as we have not always had drains that have worked since September 2010 hence the excitement when we get up and see it working!!!
Out on our street, it was a different story....it flows from our drain out to the street and there it stays, in lake form!
Got to the Golf Club and they had poured new concrete - smooth......and shiny...and the rain just sits atop.
