Dalveen Pass

A dramatic route through the Lowther Hills. This little road leads up to a cottage nestling in the hills. The main road is on the shoulder of the hill to the right and is a magnet for bikers (and cyclists!).

(I was the victim of blip theft today and had to come up with an alternative plan. A while back I had spotted a lovely photo opportunity - looking down through a corridor of trees to a gate. I returned to the spot today eager to capture this lovely image. Unfortunately the trees belonged to the Forestry Commission and they have all been cut down. Blip no more....)
