Saturday 31 March 2012: A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

*sigh*

A nice normal Saturday. Woken up repeatedly by Boy 1 from about 6am onwards. went to Harrogate for a bit of shopping and also to get my massive arse pert behind measured for a new saddle on my bike. All a bit embarrassing really, have decided people who work in the bike shop I went to have no sense of humour;-)

Bob also blew all his birthday money on a Vwing Imperial star fighter and his first proper glue and paint type model of a red arrow plane(!) Ali got two small trucks for the wooden railway.

Had a lazy afternoon, and we were meant to be having a visitation from Nana this evening, but twas not meant to be. Grandmother instantly setting up plaintive protests about her daughter leaving. So we had to explain to boys that Grandmother was not well and Nana had to stay there:-( Here's hoping she manages to wrench herself free tomorrow before she heads back up north. Family's are difficult things.

The rose here is one from a minature plant that Bob gave me for mothers day - I've not killed it yet, we'll see how it goes:-D
