A word in flowers
Desperation cries
Forgiveness sought
For feelings unshown

Too late now
Realisation dawns
What was had
Now lost

The shoulder ridden
Leaned on
Cried into
No more

Silence reigns
An empty space
That unwanted words
Once filled

Now the final cry
The ache
The last word
In flowers
