On the beach

Start of the back-blips from a week in the Lake District. We were staying out in the sticks in Eskdale, so no internet or mobile coverage. Quite a nice change from normally being so connected.

Spent the Sunday morning on the beach at St Bees. We got there at low tide so there was great opportunity for sand patterns and the like. The best shot of the day was this grab shot of a dog hurling itself along the waterline. I just loved the way the ears are blown backwards and the slight blur on the rear leg.

Popped round to John & Gail's for a cup of tea and for Paul to pick up his Big Stopper he'd ordered. Great to see Gail out of the cast. Back to the cottage via Wrynose and Hardknott passes - great fun.
