Sunday 1 April 2012: I Open an Eye to Dawn

I open an eye to dawn
and for a fleeting moment
the sun overwhelms
then steals my heart
but disappears
in a darkening bank
of clouds



technical - added a slight vignette to the shot to help close the edges of the dense clouds and their reflections and also added a smidgen of softening glow.
