Sunday 1 April 2012: Baking bread
Today I got up early to bake some Irish soda bread to sell at church. It's part of a micro-financing project we've been doing for Lent. Everybody in the group is using their skills to make something (cakes, knitted hats, homemade cards, a painting, etc) and then sell it at a profit. After we deduct costs, all the money we make will go to charity. I was a bit worried we'd end up having 10 loaves of bread for lunch but am pleased to say I sold them all!
