The Herald & Times Building in Albion Street

On this day twenty one years ago I walked into this building as a mere boy. We have changed building and I have expanded a little round the waist but the the essence stills remains the same.
Its a great old building now converted into flats. It was build for by Lord Beaverbrook for his Daily Express Newspapers. The Herald and Times took it over in 1980. There were three built Glasgow, Manchester and Fleet Street in London.
I still visit as the Press Bar is still there. It was sandwiched between the building and the former press hall where the papers were printed. Rumor has it they refused to sell so the press hall was built around it.
