Sunday 1 April 2012: The Wanderer Returns
We are just back from a wonderful day in the Peak District. We had to pick Lucy up from a meeting point near Buxton at 4pm so Gav, Rob and I decided to make a day of it. We parked at Dovedale and walked along the valley. The weather was glorious, sunshine and blue skies. Then we made our way to the meeting point and had only been there a couple of minutes when Lucy and the rest of her group arrived. They had completed today's section of the walk (16km) in just under 4 hours which included two sunbathing resting stops!
