Saturday 31 March 2012: A Strange Night in Bournemouth
Tess & I went down to Bournemouth today to watch my first Yeovil away game of the season (making up for having missed a number of home games whilst on our travels). Rewarded with a battling 0 0 draw, then went for a curry. This picture was typical of a bizarre evening as the town was full of what appeared to be stag and hen parties in fancy dress: we shared the Indian restaurant with superman and a daffodil while gangs of sailors, police officers and assorted superheroes paraded up and down the road. This is a bit of street art in the underpass on the way back to our hotel. Reminded me of one of my favourite album covers, The Court of the Crimson King, by King Crimson
