Sunday 1 April 2012: The huge orchid

I bought it for my mum when I visited her last. When I returned I found it trying to make a break for freedom (rather like a triffid).

I went out to get a bigger pot for it but it's Sunday and the shops shut early in Macclesfield.

Visits from both my cousin Garry and his partner Graham, plus friends Carol and Eric made it a good day.
