Marsh Marigold

I've checked my feeders to make sure they're full, and watered my plants. Now as soon as the packing is finished, I'm good to go.

It was a very cold and grey day, so the shot I planned on my way home will have to wait until a kayak trip this summer. Here is my offering instead.
This beautiful sunny marsh marigold brightens my pond every spring. I thought it might have succumbed to the cold nights last week, but it came back even brighter.
