Painted by spring

The woods being painted by springtime, leaves just beginning to emerge. These early spring scenes often remind me of late Autumn as there are some similarities in color and detail, and the bones of the trees are still visible. It was chilly and dewy when I took my walk this morning, much more seasonable than the heatwave we had a few weeks ago.
