Monday 2 April 2012: Nom nom nom

Another gerbil-related blip (apologies). Amy, nomming on the cardboard box that is the gerbils' "playground". The girls enjoyed watching them scurry around in the box while I changed their cage. Amy is fascinated by them! I assumed she'd be too young to be particularly bothered by them but she watches them, all beady-eyed and then turns to me and giggles; it's hilarious!

Claudia is just really excited, especially as they're so quick. She keeps up a constant narration of what they're doing ("hello Nuts. Want to go upstairs? Ok ready? 1, 2, 3, GO! Go upstairs! Ahh, want to eat a nut? Mmm, yummy nut. Ooh, Raisin digging! Dig, Raisin, dig dig dig. Ready to dig? Ok, ready; 1, 2, 3 DIG!") It's hilarious to listen to and often has me standing hidden behind the door, silently giggling to myself.
