Monday 2 April 2012: The helping hand

Day 2
S1 looked up and simply said 'take mine'.
She is so amazingly helpful, all the time. I love that about her.

It was 6:43am. I had to leave at 6:45 to get to the office in time for a series of early training calls I was running. Jumped in the car, battery flat. Cold Monday morning after the car sitting for 2 weeks while getting fixed meant it was a no go.

Instead of any stress, my amazing wife just handed me a key to hers. I love how we work as a team, always there when the other one needs it. Always there to make life easy when stress starts to appear.

It's small moments like this which remind me just how lucky I am.

Today I'm grateful for:
- Having amazing friends on this side of the world.(One good friend told us on the weekend about the amazing thesis topic she is doing for her masters... it's inspiring stuff!)
- A team at work who are all good friends. They get on, but also push each other hard which is such a good environment.
- A cat who sleeps curled up beside me, under my arm, every night. Cat's really do make a house a home don't they?
