Happy Birthday, Ole!
Silke is our very dear friend visiting us with her husband and son from Germany. You will have seen pictures of Silke from our trip to France a year ago and when she lived with us a couple of years ago.
Today, we took a very long walk along the beach. The weather was amazing. It was a little cool, maybe 16-17C? But no wind and lots of lovely sunshine.
Today is their son's birthday. Ole turned one year today. We celebrated in a number of ways, but the best, in my mind, was our walk along the boardwalk. Then we came home and had gin tonics on our front veranda and then they made us a lovely meal.
Now we're sitting about in the living room doing our various things - me blipping and sipping a whisky, Karin doing some school work, Silke and Christian each reading. Ole is asleep ;)
How perfect is that?
