Monday 2 April 2012: cuddly

i am laying in a king size bed in my underwear at the westin park central in north dallas. i am 45 minutes from home and in a hotel simply because the foundation insisted upon it. the ncaa tournament is on the tv, on mute, and i'm convinced kansas can make a comeback.

tomorrow and wednesday i sit on an interview panel to decide who deserves a scholarship that will fund their entire undergraduate education - and who doesn't.

tonight i ate at dallas' premier old school steakhouse, lawry's. yes, i'm still vegetarian. i ordered the salmon and ate a couple bites. the potatoes though - awesome.

this is all like a weird dream. i am an adult and i still feel like jumping on the king size bed. it is ridiculously huge for just me.

but fluffy. and cuddly. so cuddly.
