Tuesday 3 April 2012: The Mill
Well, in Christchurch we've all been thru the mill in the past 18 months or so. Today I felt just a tad more ground down. 16 businesses are benefiting from free land rental and a $1.8 million government grant, and we're not.
Good on them for the initiative, but it's very much a them, and us, approach. Sometime after 21016 we might be able to be included. In the meantime, I have asked Stephen Joyce for a $112K subsidy to match theirs. Not hoping for much there ...
Aside from that, a good day.
