Tuesday 3 April 2012: Angela
Dropped into the hall at school this afternoon and the youngest children were having a dance session.
Their little shoes were lined up and looked so cute, I left to get the camera, but when I returned they'd packed it in.
Angela had arrived and was setting up for her after school dance class. I told her that I'd just missed my blip and then, looking at her and the light in the doorway, thought I'd push my luck and asked if I could photograph her.
Immediately she came back that she didn't have even her lippy on, but here she is anyway, au naturel.
She may not like this, as she's always laughing and smiling, so this is quite uncharacteristic, but I think she has a beautiful, strong face, which is lovely in repose.
