Thursday 11 September 2008: Level Headed
The latest DIY project gathers pace - turning our downstairs bathroom into a utility room. Once this is finished, the back of the downstairs - kitchen, snug, hall and utility will all be complete.
Now, I know it isn't good for my blood pressure to get annoyed by the DIY antics of Bodger and Bodger, the previous occupants of the house, but they have surpassed themselves once again.
When they relaid the concrete floor in the bathroom, they bother to remove the bath - so when we took it out, there was beautiful bath shaped depression in it. So I have to fill it in before I can tile the floor. Grrrr.
