Tuesday 3 April 2012: Stand By...
..for some seriously needy rambling! I have been confined to the settee for 24 hours with abscess number two. Last night was a surreal mix of Kevin McCloud and his Aussie counterpart followed by several odd couples heading for a Place in the Sun. Then I awoke to a seriously botoxed cheek and lips at which point I rang NHS Direct and tried to explain my predicament, which must have raised a smile at their end. Tony has been out doing some orienteering controlling in Settle in preparation for an event there and I've had a day of snoozing, slurping liquid nourishment through the part of my mouth which is not numb, shoving the cat off my slanket and watching the series of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to avoid daytime tv. Fed up now.
