class with Bill Buchman
I took a bunch of photos during class yesterday, but really like this one the best.
My instructor, Bill Buchman was teaching us about color, how it relates, how to use it in your painting. That is Bill's book that he wrote (Expressive Figure drawing) lying open on the table, with his hand done color chart inside. I usually work intuitively so it takes some work for me to think about color in this way. It's worth it though, I think . . . . underneath Bill's book is another manuscript and I see a quote that Bill has discussed with us . . . . There is no one right way but there is a path.
