Tuesday 3 April 2012: After the Storm
It truly has been a four seasons in one day, kind of day. Woke to a light covering of snow and light snow fall, by breakfast snow mostly gone but now falling heavily, sun came out, got children wrapped up to take the dog out and it changed to horrible sleety snow and wind, really windy and blizzardy, sun out again and oh it's snowing once more! As you can see the wind hasn't done much for my blossom and at one point there seemed to be white and pink snow falling! Ky and I have resorted to comfort food - we made a pot of soup for lunch and a steak pie for dinner, both delicious!
Hope everyone staying warm and surviving this wintry weather.
PS This is a terrible cheat, but really by way of a weather up-date, stopped snowing and this is the fantastic view from the hall window.
