Tuesday 3 April 2012: The Stars Aligned

Actually the drip, the light and the tripod all aligned for this shot. Somedays, I just can't get the drips to stick where I want, but today, they were very well behaved and stayed put.

I bought a new tripod a week ago...shhhhh don't tell my husband....a good one that doesn't slowly tilt and sink lower to the ground after I set it, like the old one. It is so cool!

Then yesterday I stopped in "the big city" camera store and ordered extensions tubes...shhhhh don't tell about that one either! They should be here before the weekend. Also while I was there, I bought two books on macrophotography...which my husband saw me reading last night so we can talk aloud about that one:)

I am happy that he volunteered to help me make a light box and I put the idea out of how much I neeeed a new flash....maybe for our anniversary or birthday at the end of this year? I can hope. I'm actually very lucky, my husband is so supportive of my photography and encouraging, so are the kids for that matter.

Looking forward to putting everything together when I get it and for spring to hit it's stride with all the flowers and critters. It's going to be fun!
