Wednesday 4 April 2012: 'Lil Lil Wide Angle
Lily and Lizbeth came to stay last night. We all went for a giant Chinese banquet in Paddington Basin. The kids had so much catching up to do. Lil is such a chatterbox. She rarely takes a breath.
Lily is such an unusual teen. Unlike most of the teens I know she does not seem to possess that excruciating self~consciousness gene that makes absolutely everything your parents do or say soooo embarrassing. Which is a good thing as her Mum is proper weird. Prone to outbursts of public singing and dancing. Lil might gently shake her head at her Mum's antics but she mostly finds her funny. She doesn't even mind if her parents snog in public. Which happens quiet a lot of the time. For a couple that live and work together 24/7 they are unusually fond of one another.
