Wednesday 4 April 2012: The rains are coming!

Took a detour round some of the country lanes on the way back from visiting a customer today - nice to be able to get out and take a picture in the light mid-week now the clocks have changed.
Although the weather down here hasn't been anything like what's been happening in Scotland and the North of England, we did get a few hail showers this afternoon.
The clouds looked as though there may be a little bit of interest in them so I took a few shots (the original is on my blipfolio, can't see nearly as much in it).
A bit of levels, curves and sharpening and it turned into something quite exciting. All the colours were there in the original - nothing added!
