When is a violet not violet?

When it's white!

I propogated this African Violet from a soft-leaf cutting. Whenever I do this (almost always successfully, so it must be easy) the first flowering seems to be white. Thereafter, the flowers are usually as purple as the parent plant. But this one is on its second white flowering. Gorgeous waxy whiteness, but I hope it will produce violet blooms eventually.

The other photo I took was of bouncing hailstones, but the result looked just like frogspawn so this image won.
