Wednesday 4 April 2012: First periwinkle

Back at work today to face 100s of emails, but it was nice to catch up with friends.

When I was in the garden this evening, I noticed the first of the periwinkle flowers this year. This plant provides good ground cover. I cut it back quite a bit last autumn and the new shoots look better than the part of the plant I left alone.
