Me and A's best friend

Oh I have had my ups and downs today with travel from Washington to L A and I am now in the Air NZ lounge (very nice thanks) killing time until we leave for home in 4 hours.
As you will know I am much travelled and I generally enjoy getting a look at the various terminals we use but today we were going home through L A and frankly I found this one a bit confusing. Sensible signage should be the default for this stuff but "Under the blue sign" doesn't hack it with me. BUT as I have said before I am only a little dog so what do I know?
So do we all know who A's best friend is?
