The Cream Tea Walk

Every now and again the ladies who walk go on "The Cream Tea Walk" at Bolton Abbey.

We start off at Barden Bridge and walk along the River Wharfe to Cavendish Pavillion and back again.

We then have a Cream Tea - albeit at 11 in the morning - at Bolton Abbey Tea Rooms from where this was taken - just to treat ourselves.

Glorious day - the sun was shining, the birds were singing, the blue bells were blooming and we could still see the remains of yesterdays' snow on the hills.

Makes up for all the hours we've spend walking through winter - in unpleasant conditions at times!
