hand built shelves

We live in a small house with a small kitchen. I told Steven he really HAD to build shelves for an empty kitchen wall - we desperately needed more storage.
It took him some time to do this task, but he came though with flying colors yesterday and I am so grateful. He hung the new shelves up on a 'french cleat' -super cool! Then he stepped back and showed me all the shelf details. He said my dad would have been proud of his workmanship and I agree.

I spent most of today unloading the previously stuffed to the brim cabinets, cleaning, sorting, and reorganizing. I added wire shelves inside the cabinets so that cans would not be piled up on top of each other and I relegated unused items to our garage 'pantry'. It was a lot of work but things are so much better now and I am very happy. We can find things now! Thank you, Steven. xoxoxo
