Friday 6 April 2012: Leopard.
I have been waiting for this beast to arrive at the local RSL club for months. Then as it was about to arrive, I left South Australia. Finally I get to come back to climb over it and have a good look. The kids had a great time exploring this Leopard Tank which was a tank commissioned by the Australian Defence Force in 1977 I believe.
It sure is a beast and we did not get too much time to explore as a fairly heavy gale was blowing in threatening to bring some bad weather with it so we had to push on. Impressive, maybe not quite as impressive as the Tiger Tank I saw in the Duxford War Museum in London (somewhere near Cambridge I think) but still very cool nonetheless.
