Sgwarnog: In the Field

Sentinel Tree

My favourite tree on the moor is just at the verge of coming into leave. If you view large, you can pick out the green highlights a little more.

In a few weeks it will look like this , although those surprised by snow on the ground in April have short memories. Here's one of the same tree snowbound on April 25th, Easter 2008.

Having operated in parallel for a few days, this is the first day that I've brought April's Bradford Photo a Day Challenge into my Blipfoto journal. Today's prompt word is tree.

I had another enjoyable Bradford District blip meet last night in Saltaire. @Wendles56, has provided a great round up, which captures @PaulFS and I listening intently to @earthdreamer's wisdom. We were speculating that we must be one of the largest nodes of blipping activity outside of Scotland. Are there any other contenders? Perhaps the new Blip map will reveal all once it has matured a bit.
