Friday 6 April 2012: Goodbye plasma
My old faithful plasma has finally given up the ghost.
We bought it over seven years ago at the cost of a small car. HD was not invented then. It has done well and survived four house moves including 3 sea journeys from the UK to UAE.
Given the brighter conditions we have gone for a basic LCD as can't see the point of 3D at present. Spent the afternoon changing all the cables for HDMI.
