F is for fresh...

Dusted off the breadmaker and got a loaf going last night.

The smell was heavenly...

It was finished baking at 10.15 pm and a few minutes later (I have asbestos fingers, by the way) I took this shot.

Well, being me, I took several of the loaf unbroached, which did not set the heather on fire.

Eventually, I cut a slice and slapped on the flora-dora, and it just looked so much better.

It's a bit shakey, as I couldn't be bothered with whipping out the tripod. Or maybe it was just impatience to get at the bread!!
