Clouds over the Clyde

A wee trip down the road to visit the folks this weekend.

The sun did it's best to peek through the clouds all day and in between the drizzle it managed for a bit too, so I stopped off at the picnic area just before Seamill to take a few shots across the firth. This shot looks down the firth of Clyde, with Arran on the right and the Heads of Ayr on the left.

I'm not sure how clear you'll see it on blip, but the volcanic rock plug of Ailsa Craig lies in the middle on the horizon, with the Brodick ferry making its way back to Ardrossan just to it's right.

And as quick as it came, the sun was gone again. By the time I got to Largs the misty rain had arrived.

Hope everyone had a grand day. Have a yummy Easter Sunday.

Back in a bit to catch up.
