Happy Eostre!

This rather amazing creation is the highlight of the Eostre chocolateness my lovely wife gave me this morning. It's a foot tall (from base to top of the ribbon - so the egg itself is a wee bit smaller than that), and quite outstandingly gorgeous.

I used the Pentax lens, my tripod, and in post an overlay layer, sharpening, and (obviously) selective colour.

Here it is perhaps life-size. ;-)

I did rather want to post this photo of my lad going hell-for-leather on his bike, but the egg is just so amazing I decided to go with it.
