Sunday 8 April 2012: Easter in Spring

I think those of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere are fortunate that Easter comes in the Spring. I can't imagine celebrating Easter in the autumn, but perhaps those who live in the Southern hemisphere might like to comment. For me, the signs of new life in nature enhance the Christian message of resurrection. Fortunately the message is the same for humankind all over the world. Today's Blipfoto attempts to capture the wood of the crucifixion with the new life of the resurrection.
