Sunday 8 April 2012: Scottish Parliament from Arthur's Seat

It's a bit of a tradition in Edinburgh to roll eggs down the slopes of Arthur's Seat on Easter Day. We like to join in with the tradition which can lead to mayhem with mad dogs and seagulls all sfter the broken eggs!! Anyway it's all great fun, and there is the added bonous of lovely views of The Parliament-hence the photo. The building is meant to be joined into the landscape, and runs almost into the cliffs of the Salisbury Crags-which can be clearly seen from this vantage point.
Happy Easter everyone.
