Not An Egg

Last month we went up to Parkgate and the tide did not come as far in as expected. Today we set out again with renewed optimism, and our new I Spy Bird books, to see if conditions would be better.

We were not disappointed. Particularly with the show of birds of prey which included Hen Harriers, short eared owls and a fantastic sight of a peregrine flying at great speed.

We also had a great view of a Spoonbill. But unfortunately no points as it doesn't even feature in the I Spy book!
