Sunday 8 April 2012: Fence Rescue

Today I went to an Easter egg hunt at a goat farm. All the photographers were by the baby goat pen including a newspaper multimedia producer with a fancy video camera that I could not help but drool over. But this one adult goat just stood by the fence with this look on her face. I kept feeling I should go over to her and low and behold her tag was caught on the wire. I unhooked her and she was able to get down, but came back for a portrait to say thank-you to me. What a well mannered mama goat.

Honestly really sad this morning that it was so gray and gloomy. I went to my favorite sunrise point but not even the gulls showed up today. I suppose when days like today occur it just makes me appreciate the dawn shots and gull shots I do get when they happen. The forecast looks grim this week. I shall have to become creative to overcome my sadness in not having my morning moments by the lake.
