Woodhenge

These wooden posts have stood on the shores of the Cromarty Firth at Foulis Ferry ("No ferry") for a very long time.
25 years ago I timidly attended a photography course at Inverness College. I learnt some of the mysteries of the dark room and played with the various potions used to coax images from blank bits of paper.
One of my assignments took me to this shore to photograph these posts.
It was a delight to return and to discover that they still stood!
