Sunday 8 April 2012: River
Out for an early Easter morning run and not a soul in sight.
Trying out running in 'barefoot trainers' - they create the sensation of running in bare feet and they speeded me up loads - hadn't quite realised how much the weight and the bulk of the standard running shoe weighs you down. Serious lack of support though so did a good 15 mins stretching afterwards. Now need to assess the damage over the next day or two.
"Oh I wish I had a river so long
I would teach my feet to fly..."
Well, I do and I am...
