Interrupted service

A very wet, chilly and grey Easter Monday in Brussels. Few people around and can you blame them with weather like that for a bank holiday.

The bus stop is empty. Not because it is public holiday but because a supervisor of the Brussels public transport company was punched and killed by a guy upset because a car had collided with a bus. The transport staff walked out two days ago in protest and have not yet gone back.

For once, I sympathise totally with their action. Today's blip is thus in memory of Iliaz Tahiraj, 56 years old, 29 years of public service, his life and service ended by a moment of madness.
