The Phoenix Rises

Tree stone

This tree has been growing in this rock since I was a girl... a few years ago.
It truely is a natural bonsai. My Dad did take a photo of it years ago, so I will see if I can find it and post in.......like you would be interested, but I would.

We headed off mid morning after watching some mad climbers heading out in the sleet, to climb one of the many Munros in Glencoe. We left them as they disappeared into the weather, to head to Tydrum over Rannoch moor. The cloud was so low, that someone may have stolen the mounts and we would have been none the wiser. A coffee in God's chip shop the Real food cafe wasn't possible as it was too early for them to be open, so we settled for a Green welly stop.

Looking for somewhere to stretch our legs we eventually stopped at Kilmahog just outside Callander. (What a great name). We had lunch.....in Claudette of course and headed for a cycle up towards Strathyre. Before we knew it we were enjoying the sunshine and had travelled about 6 miles, up the glen. The ride back was slightly faster, but not much. We were trecking.

(Note to big bro aime, obviously no contest with you, but we are trying.).

Backblipped our Claudette adventure from here
