another bird . . .
I can't resist, as I've never gotten a good photo of an osprey before . . . This was on Sunday when we took our little boat Chelsea out on the bayou. We sure get a lot of waves (as in a wave hello) I think because this traditional hand built boat is so different than the typical motor boats we see here. Any way, the long lens on my new sony camera - 870mm with 30x optical zoom certainly seems to be helping me out in many ways, hooray! Click on large to fully enjoy this bird and his crazy nest!
I am a little behind, so I will try to catch up and visit you tomorrow!
p.s. I cannot believe this new location thing combined with the GPS that is in the camera! It has pinpointed right where I took this photo -you can see the bayou where my mom lives, wow!
